Meet Dr. Kiranpreet Narain, DMD
"Dr. K” as her patients know her, is a Board Certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. K grew up in southern Connecticut and received a bachelor of science from University of Connecticut. She attended UConn School of Dental Medicine to pursue a career in dentistry.
After graduating, Dr. K trained at a general practice residency at New York Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York where she enhanced her hospital based, emergency and comprehensive dental treatment skills.Serving at community dental clinics and embarking on dental outreach locally and internationally through multiple mission trips to Honduras, she realized her passion for working with children and families and the impact that it can have in shaping the future.
This ambition led her to complete a two year pediatric dental specialty at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Queens New York where she obtained advanced training to provide the highest quality of care to infants, children, adolescents and children with special health care needs. Her training included learning about multiple behavior management techniques from minimally invasive dentistry to completing many cases of full mouth rehabilitation with sedation/general anesthesia and providing interceptive orthodontics. In addition, she finished a course in Pediatric & Tongue ties and completed frenectomies using a laser after becoming certified.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Connecticut Dental Association, American Dental Association and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Living right in town, Dr. K is excited to call Stratford her home and paved her way to start Little Teeth of Stratford. Little Teeth’s mission is to determine how to provide the highest personalized quality care for each child through education, prevention and compassion that will protect your child’s teeth for a lifetime!
During her spare time, Dr. K enjoys trying new cuisines, traveling and cycling the shoreline with her husband.
